QURANIC VERSES FOR SAFETY FROM BURNING & DROWNING

Eleventh: According to a narration, Imam ‘Ali Amir al-Mu’minin (‘a) is reported to have advised of reciting these Qur’anic verses for security against burning and drowning:

“Surely, my guardian is Allah Who revealed the Book

and He keeps the righteous people under His custody.”

“And they have not honored Allah with the honor that is due to Him.

The whole earth shall be in His grip on the Resurrection Day

and the heavens rolled up in His right hand.

Glory be to Him and may He be exalted above what they associate with Him.”
