اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِىْ كَذَا وَ كَذَا۔۔۔
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and...
The seventh hour, which is the space of time between the Noon Prayer and the amount of four units of prayer before afternoon, is dedicated to Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kazim (a.s.). The supplication at this hour is as follows:
يَا مَنْ تَكَبَّرَ عَنِ الْاَوْهَامِ صُوْرَتُهُ
O He Whose Figure is too great above all illusions!
يَا مَنْ تَعَالٰى عَنِ الصِّفَاتِ نُوْرُهُ
O He Whose Light is too elevated above attributes!
يَا مَنْ قَرُبَ عِنْدَ دُعَاۤءِ خَلْقِهِ
O He Whose is Nigh when His creatures pray Him!
يَا مَنْ دَعَاهُ الْمُضْطَرُّوْنَ
O He Whom is supplicated by the distressed,
وَ لَجَاَ اِلَيْهِ الْخَاۤئِفُوْنَ
to Whom the afraid have recourse,
وَ سَئَلَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ
asked by the believers,
وَ عَبَدَهُ الشَّاكِرُوْنَ
served by the thankful,
وَ حَمِدَهُ الْمُخْلِصُوْنَ
and praised by the sincere!
اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ نُوْرِكَ الْمُضِيْىَّءِ
beseech You in the name of Your glowing light
وَ بِحَقِّ مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْكَ
and the regard of Musa, the son of Ja'far, with Youthrough whom I seek nearness to You
وَ اَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ اِلَيْكَ
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
وَ اُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَوْاۤئِجِىْ
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and...
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِىْ كَذَا وَ كَذَا۔۔۔
